January 2008

A catastrophe like the United States has never seen decides it’s fate, twelve months before the election. In a turn of events that the future will expose as being planned, (to those who care to follow the evidence trail) the United States is maliciously attacked, it’s Government nearly destroyed in one swoop. In Washington D.C. while both houses of Congress are in a special session to discuss the possibility of a North American Union a bomb goes off, killing everyone inside. Simultaneously, both Presidential Candidates are assassinated on the campaign trail. United States Embassy's across the world are destroyed, killing government officials and U.S. Citizens.

February 2008

In a bold statement, North Korea openly accepts responsibility for the catastrophe, and declares war on the United States. China and Russia form an alliance with North Korea to start World War III.

Under the circumstances, the President is awarded almost unlimited power, and immediately forms a counter strike. Both Britain and Japan join forces with the U.S. to fight the newly coined, Axis of evil. The Supreme Court orders that all states be sent in for an emergency vote to allow the current U.S. President under the circumstances to remain in office until the end of the War. The measure is ratified in 47 out of 50 states, passing.

January - May 2009

Nuclear attacks devastate countries, killing billions. The Alliance formed by the United States, Japan and Britain put together their nuclear capabilities and level both North Korea and China, leaving the countries a rotting wasteland of radiation. Britain forms a short alliance with Germany and launches a concentrated attack on Russia soil.

June 2009

World War III was the worst war remembered by humanity, and one of the shortest. By the summer solstice, Russia, the last remaining country in the “Axis of Evil” has surrendered, and the country is put under military control by the Alliance.

All members of the UN Security Council are removed in a stunning move, allowing only the United States, Britain, and Japan a seat on said council. The United States is given two votes above the other three, it’s word suddenly law. It’s first order of business; the control of both Iraq and Iran. All UN Peacekeeping forces, joined by special regiments of Japans military are sent to the region to lock it down.

July – January 2010

Erratic weather bruises the United States, killing millions. A massive earthquake finally splits the San Andrea’s fault, and by March parts of California that did not sink are now islands. Lingering terrorists that mysteriously manage to sneak into the country once more attack Washington D.C. A nuclear weapon goes off and the nations capital is destroyed, killing the brokenly formed government that was struggling to rebuild itself. Luckily, the President and key members of his staff were not in Washington when it happened. The nations Capital is relocated to Houston, Texas.

In light of these events, newly elected members of Congress (not all 50 states represented) put together a motion to approve the formation of a North American Union, combining Canada, Mexico and the US under one flag. The measure passes. The current U.S. President a hero of our times, the protector of America, becomes its leader. A new tribunal is formed that supersedes the individual governments of each country. A fierce public debate ensues, however fear is a powerful campaign tool, and those who speak out openly are called liberal traitors to the flag.

By the beginning of the year, the UN announces that all World Governments are to come together under a new flag. The UN is renamed to The World Management Team, its mission to ensure that all nations follow one agreed upon Governmental Policy, forge cooperation between nations, and ensure that no World War will ever happen again. World Government Headquarters are split between London, England and Houston, Texas.

Not every country decides to join the newly formed WMT.

February 2010 - December 2011

Thousands of protestors gather in new capitals of the WMT to protest. Coincidentally a biological agent is released, it’s origin or the person who committed the act unknown. Those who don’t die initially are quarantined and never seen again. The Vatican suddenly takes the opportunity to use this incident as a means of relating it to the work of God against those who are secretly evil and seek to destroy the safety and well being of the WMT and it’s good Catholic people.

January - November 2012

Life continues as it were, sort of. The New Year brings the expected prophesies of the return of Christ, the end of the world and everything in between. As if the world has not suffered enough, the day after New Years, thousands of random homes across the world suddenly catch on fire. Entire families are killed. Once more the Vatican steps in and claims this as an act of God, cleansing the world of those who do not believe in him. The Pope begs the WMT President, to forbid the practice of any other religion but Catholicism in order to save the people of God. Amazingly, this request is granted making Catholicism the official religion of the WMT. All other forms of worship on U.S. soil are deemed unsafe, a danger to a humanity, and thereby outlawed. Any case attempting to dispute this brought before the Supreme Council of the WMT is never heard. Protestors to new policy are jailed without trial. Some are never released.

December 21st, 2012

It happened overnight. Across the Globe, it woke up every living human being and startled animals. An omniscient presence echoed out around the world for three hours, the sound of someone crying. And when it stopped, it brought both hope and fear.

The Human DNA strand was suddenly repaired. Not a person alive had a split helix anymore. The thousands of deficiencies that existed in the genetic makeup of humans were suddenly gone. Allergies, Asthma and Arthritis simply ceased. Coma patients woke up, cancer patients were miraculously cured.

But there was more.

In Egypt it was reported that a blinding violet light shot up from the head of the Sphinx and the eyes of the great monument glowed green. When dawn struck, they still glowed. Off the coast of the Biminis Islands, submerged Pyramids, they’re very existence still in debate suddenly rose up from the Ocean and could be seen as islands. In the Yucatan, soft chirping sounds could be heard from the Pyramids , and every full Moon thereafter caused every Pyramid standing across the globe to make the same sound.

But there was more.

Many human beings abruptly remembered past lives. Many more reported sudden Extra Sensory like abilities. And every human being on the planet had the same feeling. For those three hours, they all knew that there was more to the world, to the Universe, to their very lives then they had been told.

The Vatican called it an act of God. The Vatican told people that the feeling was Satan, that those who exhibited those strange abilities had been overtaken by the Devil in his attempt to confuse and thwart the message of the Lord, our Savior. The Vatican once more begged the President of the U.S. and other world leaders to step in and save those that were lost. Once more, their wishes were granted. Thousands across the United States were jailed or sent to churches for “exorcisms”.

By the beginning of January 2013, the dust had settled and the world leaders felt that once more they had the situation under control. The answers would come, it was promised. God would come, he’d already proven that hadn’t he?

Not everyone believed it. But those people would have to search for the truth in secret. Luckily, they were not alone.
