[16:24] Wei X Lin: Whatever is necessary. Those words had become her mantra, filling her thoughts and echoing in her bones, urging her slowly and ever closer toward a decision that she didn't want to make. But she had to make it. And she did. Without hint or warning, Wei Lin Lau suddenly appeared in the office of Charles Hamilton, Defense Minister of the World Management Team. She stood before his desk, as still as a statue, swathed in a green silk qipao, with her graceful, elegant hands clasped in front of her. She did not smile. There was no flicker of polite greeting in her dark, almond shaped eyes. She merely bowed, piercing him with her impenetrable gaze.

[16:28] DefenseMinisterX: Charles had just sent his Igigi off on another task when he felt it. Something approaching, bending time and space to enter his. Not five seconds later, she appeared in front of him. He was not surprised to see this particular ascended being. But he was very curious. While she didn't smile, he did. A practiced politicians smile. "Wei Lin Lau. In my office. What do I owe the honor of your presence?"

[16:36] Wei X Lin: He was such a trustworthy looking man, she reflected, watching the slow ease with which he smiled and the thinly veiled curiosity that lit the depths of his blue eyes. With whom would he discuss this, when they were through? Or would he keep it to himself, playing the winning hand she would deal him close to his vest? With a silent sigh of resignation, she said, "Terenzio will attack this base in three days' time, and take from you the technology to enslave the Black Magicians."

[16:40] DefenseMinisterX: He gave her his rapt attention, as if they were not mortal enemies. He laced his fingers together leaving them folded comfortably on his desk, listening to this gift. "Is that so. Well, Terenzio is very clever. This base is extremely well hidden." The curiosity in his eyes remained as he studied in thoughtful silence and then he understood. "The Black Magicians are a greater evil than the Anunnaki aren't they? Now I understand." He slowly leaned back in his chair. "I admire your resolve. I can see this pains you."

[16:51] Wei X Lin: "A great deal," she admitted freely. It was the pain that separated her from the creature sitting before her. It gave her a strength and a resolve that he and his kind would continue to underestimate until the day that they were brought to their knees. "But with this information, your endeavor will be preserved, and mine will be realized. Both of us will get what we want."

[16:56] DefenseMinisterX: "You are correct." His smile became less, polite. "And middle men like Terenzio get slaughtered. But their souls live on, so its a small price to pay. You know..." He unfolded his arms and stood up, to get himself a glass of water. "...I find it very amusing that this is moment, dear ascended, when the you and I share no difference. You may tell yourself that your goals absolve you, but I think we know better." He turned around to face her, sipping from the glass. "So I have to ask you, again, why continue this war? I'm sure a fair treaty between you Ascended Beings and the Anunnaki could be reached."

[17:03] Wei X Lin: When he moved, her gaze remained fixed and unwavering on the empty space left in his wake. She didn't need to watch him to know where in the office he went. Neither did she need to see him to divine his thoughts. "We continue because it isn't a matter of right or wrong, or of black or of white or of gray. There are forces in the universe that neither your or I understand. But I understand enough of them to know that you have been in power too long, Anunnaki. Your reign is at its end."

[17:08] DefenseMinisterX: "Ah, I see." There was the whisper of amusement in his falsely human eyes as he nodded his head and retook his seat behind his desk. "Well, let me give your heart a sure prophecy to meditate on human. In three days time, we will have completed building The Great Crystal. On that night, we will seize the Black Magicians souls. And on that night, Anunnaki spaceships will lay in wait above the Islands of Alcyone and Atlantis. And the moment we have sucked out the souls of those who dared to oppose us, those two human islands will be a rotting wasteland of corpses. Rather like china but worse. For Terenzio's infractions the army of the Anunnaki has voted to handle it personally." He sighed pleasantly. "Afterwards we'll have nothing better to do then focus all our attention on you. And then, we shall see about these forces of the universe." That polite politicians smile returned. "Thank you for the visit Wei Lin Lau."

[17:18] Wei X Lin: The smooth lines of her face shifted, the fine porcelain veneer cracking as his words hissed into her ears and slithered around her bones; cracking, but not breaking. Wei Lin's impenetrable mask fell away, and she smiled her small, enigmatic, maddening smile. "Farewell, Charles." She bowed deeply, and disappeared.
